Dr. Frank Glatz is the managing director of Contact BioSolutions, an Australian-founded developer and manufacturer of fatty-acid bioherbicides marketed under the FireHawk brand.
As managing director, Glatz leads the company's operations across its two core markets, Australia and the United States, and its strategy to position FireHawk as a lower-toxicity alternative to conventional synthetic weed killers. In 2026 he announced that the company had raised $5.6 million through the conversion of options, describing the capital as support for the business through its next phase of growth.
"This capital will provide us with a strong basis to help progress our operational plans and support us through this next phase of growth," Glatz said in announcing the raise.
